No. All scanning happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your camera feed and scanned data never leave your device. We have no servers that receive your video or scan results.

What barcode formats are supported?

We support QR Code, Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 93, Codabar, ITF, Data Matrix, Aztec, and PDF417.

Why isn't my camera working?

Make sure you've granted camera permissions to this website. On iOS, you may need to use Safari. If issues persist, try the image upload option instead.

Can I scan QR codes from screenshots?

Yes! Switch to the "Upload Image" tab and select any image containing a QR code or barcode. This works great for screenshots, saved photos, or downloaded images.
